VA Items to Bring

  • Tent (if registered for tent camping)
  • Sleeping bag/pillow (or twin sized sheets if registered for Hutchison Lodge)
  • Clothing
    • Modest dress is expected
    • Bring clothes for Mass on Sunday
    • Modest bathing suits
    • Little Flowers attire: Sashes, bandannas, t-shirts etc. These are not mandatory by any means but if you have them, please bring them!
  • Rosary
  • Catholic Bible
  • Bug Spray
  • Sun Block
  • Any medications you may need
  • Folding Chairs
  • Long metal skewers for toasting marshmallows
  • Toiletries
  • Towels
  • Lawn Chairs
  • Charities
    • Each girl makes and brings small pins or keepsakes with her name attached. The girls then swap these and keep them as mementos of the camp. Girls should bring about fifty.

We ask that each family brings some items to help supplement the meals based on the first letter of their last name:

A-H Families: S’more materials (please bring graham crackers, chocolate bars and marshmallows)

I-L Families: Snacks (for example: chips, pretzels or crackers)

M-R Families: Cookies (for example: Oreos or chocolate chip cookies to share for dessert or snacks)

S-Z Families: Drink Mix

  2. If your daughter is age 10 or younger, she needs to have an adult register with her. She can go with her group leader or another adult, but she does need another adult registering with her. See you there!

  3. If we don’t have a tent or RV, are accommodations on a gym floor or in smaller rooms? Are there cots or just the air mattresses we bring on the floor? I’m sure the other moms of my little flowers will want to know what to expect! Thank you.
