Kentucky What to Bring

What to Bring

  • Clothing
    • Modest dress is expected
    • Bring nicer clothes for Mass on Sunday (ideally, a skirt that can be worn with the camp shirt. This year, the shirts are dark purple with a silver logo on them.)
    • Little Flowers attire: if you have any t-shirts, sashes, bandanas etc. They aren’t necessary by any means but if you have them, bring them!
  • Rosary
  • Bug Spray
  • Sun Block
  • Any medications you may need
  • Folding or lawn Chairs
  • Long metal skewers for toasting marshmallows
  • Toiletries (towels, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, etc)
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Charities
    • Each girl makes and brings small pins or keepsakes with her name attached. The girls then swap these and keep them as mementos of the camp. Girls should bring about 25.
    • Example from last year
    • Visit our Pinterest Page for more ideas!
  • Two 3-5 inch smooth rock for the “Kindness Rocks” activity

We ask that each family brings some items to help supplement the meals based on the first letter of their last name:

A-F Families: Snacks (for example: chips, pretzels or crackers)

G-H Families: Dessert (for example: Oreos or chocolate chip cookies to share for dessert or snacks)

I-K Families:  Mentos, mints, or playing cards for our chemo care packages

L-Z Families: Water bottles, puzzle books or slippers for chemo care packages
